Martha Eunice Myrick Smith Ivey (1822-1883)

Generation 4
Daughter of UNKNOWN
Wife of George Washington Ivey

Martha Eunice Myrick Smith Ivey was born on 7 Feb 1822 in Georgia. It is not known who her parents were. My theory is that her last name at birth (LNAB) was Myrick, based on her name as listed on her son's death certificate, Unice Myrick. A preliminary search through Myrick family lines in the area was not successful. Ancestry.com suggests Charles Wesley Ivey (1801-1870) and Cinderella "Cynthia" Seay (1801-1870) as parents for a Martha Smith (1822-1883). This family line has not been followed to rule them out as possible parents.
